Te Puke Patrol responded to distubance call Jellicoe Street from customer living above shop.
Confirmed broken windows in shop and phone booth police were alerted and with assitance of the Te Puke Night Owl Patrol offenders were followed to address in Edghill place 2 males aged 17 were arrested.

POlice were called to Te Puke for a male and female fighting in the main street.

Mt Patrol responded to a burglary Girven Road Police were called and one offender caught walking from area with a stolen camera on him.
 
 
 
For customers who have problems with boy racers this one is for you.
At around 02:00 18 January 2009 a Black RX7 Mazda went into Te Akaroa Drive Papamoa and started doing burnouts in the Ashley Place dead end.
Patrols observing reported to police who responded quickly.
Within 2 minutes the car went to leave but was observed to have flames coming from under the car.
It went down the side of a building where 3 ran from car as it burst into flames.
Fire service was called by the Prowler Security patrol.
Within 5 minutes there were 3 to 4 explosions, the car totalled.
One male was taken by police and charged.

Prowler security waved down by male covered in blood S/H 2 Te Puke near Pah Road.
The male and friend had been returning home from a party and crashed a yellow ute.
Police and ambulance with fire were called.
One male received minor injuries and the second received head injuries.
The ute was completley off the roadway ony thing spotted was one tail lite working.
Blood left on patrol cars door and partial photo of ute.

Barry Patrolling  Centamax at Papamoa disturbed
3 youths in a car tagging the rear of the shops.

Walls rubbish bins a freezer and including a container were tagged.

A sign on Beachwater Drive was also tagged.
3 youths were arrested and charged with a varity of offences.

Patrol in Papamoa disturbed males breaking street signs in Parton Road 7 signs damaged.
Two were caught in behind a property by security staff and were then taken away by police

Patrols alerted to Glass Break alarm activation, called police as well, patrol observed 2 males running off and then spotted them leaving a church property in Queen Street Te Puke.
Alerting police they were stopped and questioned.
A police dog handler and manager of Prowler Security checked the area where the males had come from and found all the property stashed by rubbish bins.
After questioning at the station it turned out they had also broken into a $2 Dollar shop.

Male spotted tagging in Atuaroa Avenue Te Puke by security patrols alerted Police dog section who after a strong track caught the male hiding in bushes with a bag full of spray cans.

Patrol spotted 4 people on number 3 Road acting suspeciuos around car.
On rechecking them several minutes later found car broken into and alerted Police.
Police dog section tracked to a house nearby and several people were arrested. Noted: same offenders from sports club 20th January.

After alerting patrols and Police to a alarm activation at a sports club Police dog section tracked several offenders and caught 4 people involved in the burglary.

Several groups were observed interferring with customers windows in the main street of Te Puke and police have advised us of several fingerprint hits one male already in custody for other offenses will have another charge laid.

We were sent to an alarm in the main street (glassbreak) we advised police as well to find a person had used a gun to shoot 2 windows.
Witnesses passed a car reg and description of offender.
Who for some unknown reason pulled up again next to the police and started rambling, Police questioned him about the glass and spotted a gun on back seat he was arrested shortly after and gun recovered.

Prowler Security  Manager Barry Jones came across a nasty scene at around 1am on Jellicoe Street outside the BNZ while doing patrols.
 
A male known as Dale was receiving assistance from the public in the way of CPR on arrival.
He died soon after Ambulance staff arrived.
There were around 25 to 30 drunk males and females at the location some were abusive towards Ambulance staff.
At one stage Barry moved in to move females away from the man as they were becoming violent.
 
Prowler Security was asked to keep as many people at the scene and take notes of anyone leaving the area.
 
"He was killed just minutes after withdrawing $100 from a cashpoint machine during an evening out drinking, say police."

Three teenagers aged 16, 18 and 19 appeared in Tauranga District Court yesterday afternoon on homicide charges.

Police later said that a 24-year-old woman had also been arrested for being a party to the murder and she will appear in court today.
