In 1992 Barry Jones felt that more must be done to safeguard businesses in the Western Bay of Plenty.

As a result, Prowler Security Limited was conceived with the mission to reduce crime in the Te Puke / WBOP area.

Since that time Prowler Security has been very successful in achieving this goal in WBOP and has extended operations to the Mt Maunganui and Papamoa areas and now in early 2007 including Tauranga .

With upgrades to our Monitoring System Barry decided it was time to move to commercial premises, and in May 2007 Prowler Security expanded into its new Monitoring Centre & Workshop and Sales Centre.

We believe that security services should be affordable to everyone both commercial and residential. Since our inception in 1992 we have expanded to include installation, maintenance and monitoring of alarm systems, alarm response, provision of Static Officers.

Prowler Security is 100% New Zealand owned and was created to deliver professional security services for clients that would meet and exceed their expectations.
